Project
Receptors for immunoglobulin receptors are controlled by a control mechanism that allows the cell to induced a fast increase of functionality of these receptors. This process is typically induced by pro-inflammatory mediators. Only after interaction the cells can “see” the targets covered with immunoglobulins. The project focuses on the fundamental processes involved in this control mechanism
Techniques
Cell culture, cell isolation, molecular biological techniques, protein transduction, creation of stable cell lines, several fluorescence techniques including FRAP, FRET and BRET and proteomics.
Duration
9 months
